Wei serves Northwest Trustee and its clients by providing thoughtful investment management oversight. He brings more than 25 years of experience to the team, including his most recent role as the Chief Investment Officer for a multibillion-dollar, single-family office as well as his prior position as the Senior Client Investment Officer for the Outsourced Chief Investment Officer practice for family offices at Northern Trust. His unique combination of knowledge and understanding of both investments and family office operations allows him to help clients transform broad financial goals into well-designed and comprehensive plans.

Wei was born and raised in Shanghai, China. He received his MBA in Private Equity from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He's a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and he currently serves as an independent board member for GuideOne Insurance in Iowa. Wei and his wife have two college-aged children and they enjoy volunteering and traveling.
