Kristin (Thompson) Mathison, JD
Senior Trust Officer
As a Senior Trust Officer, Kristin has more than 16 years of experience in wealth management and trust administration. Kristin brings a particular passion to Special Needs Trust administration, where she works closely with families, advisors, and care teams to ensure that individuals with special needs receive thoughtful, compliant, and compassionate support. Her approach combines legal knowledge with practical problem-solving, allowing her to guide clients through sensitive and often complex decisions with confidence and understanding.
Kristin is deeply committed to service and philanthropy, including founding and leading a nonprofit organization that supports youth in the Dominican Republic. She is an active member of Rotary International and a member of the North Central Washington Estate Planning Council. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Willamette University and her Juris Doctor from Hamline University School of Law.
Outside of her professional work, Kristin enjoys spending time with her family, following baseball, especially her beloved Mariners, and spending time with her Bernese Mountain Dog, Ned.
