Salary Range: $77,480 to $92,400 per year

JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for reviewing, analyzing, reconciling, and interpreting accounting and investment data for clients. Review and oversee Finance Department controls. Assess and contribute to the company’s financial and accounting operations, and the company’s systems for recording costs, fee processing, administration, and other financial and budgetary data. Organize, analyze, and maintain client financial records and statements. Review investment statements prepared by third parties and prepare client financial statements. Participate in initial tax meetings and submit initial tax objects. Track data aggregation/PCR; monthly statements from third-party custodians; and quarterly financial statement delivery to clients. Supervise the work of Trust Accounts Managers and Accounting Clerks responsible for payments and receipts to ensure optimal workflow management. Download/upload data files daily/ weekly/monthly related to transactions, prices, and new securities.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- U.S. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least two (2) years of experience in an accounting-related occupation, including experience in each of the following:
- Financial statement delivery to clients;
- Examining, analyzing, and interpreting accounting records to prepare financial statements;
- Financial Analysis and Accounting, including the financial impacts of tax decisions, cash flows, and balance sheets;
- Completing and filing all client trust tax returns on time and in compliance with relevant tax laws, ensuring accuracy in income, expenses, distributions, capital gains and trust deductions, and tax elections;
- Daily and monthly trust account reconciliation;
- Trust and Estate Taxation;
- Downloading and uploading transactions, prices, and new securities data files daily/weekly/monthly;
- Tracking monthly statements from third party custodians;
- Fiduciary compliance and risk management, including creating and implementing internal controls and procedures to minimize fiduciary risk and ensure compliance in all aspects;
- Court order accounting and fee review.
